မြန်မာကလေးများနှင့် အင်္ဂလိပ်ကလေးများ ကွာခြားချက်

 

မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ ကျမတွေ့ခဲ့တဲ့ ကလေးတွေဟာဖြင့် အတော့်ကို လိမ္မာကြပါတယ်။ သူတို့ ရန်ဖြစ်ကြမယ်ဆိုတာမျိုး တစ်ခါမှ တောင် မတွေ့ခဲ့ရဖူးဘူး။ အကယ်၍ ကလေးတစ်ယောက်က အရုပ်ကလေးတစ်ခုနဲ့ ကစားနေတုံး အခန်းထဲကို သူ့ ညီ/ညီမ စသည် ဝင်လာခဲ့ရင် အဲဒီကလေးက သူ့အရုပ်ကို တစ်ခါတည်း ပေးလိုက်တော့တာပဲ။ အဲဒီဖြစ်ရပ်ကို အနောက်တိုင်းက သာမန် အိမ်ထောင်စုတစ်ခုနဲ့ ယှဉ်ကြည့်လိုက်စမ်းပါ။ အနောက်တိုင်း မိသားစုတွေမှာဆို ပစ္စည်းတစ်ခုခုနဲ့ပတ်သက်လာလို့ မောင်နှမ တွေ အမြဲအငြင်းပွားနေကြတာဟာ အစဉ်အလာကြီး တစ်ခုလို ဖြစ်နေပါပြီ။ ကလေးတွေ ကြီးပြင်းလာတဲ့အခါမှာ အဲဒီ အရေးပါတဲ့ ကွဲပြားခြားနားချက် ပုံစံနှစ်ရပ်ကို အသင် နားလည်လာပါလိမ့်မယ်။

 

ကျမသားသမီးတွေဆိုရင် ကလေးပေါက်စန အရွယ်မှာတောင်မှ သူတို့လိုချင်ပြီဆို အတင်းလုယူ၊​ ဆွဲကိုင်ထားတော့တာပဲ။ မြန်မာပြည်မှာကျတော့ အဲသလိုမဟုတ်ဘူး။ ကလေးတွေအနေနဲ့ ပထမဆုံး စသင်ကြားရတဲ့ စကားလုံးတွေက “နင် - အဲဒါကို ယူလို့ရတယ်” “အဲဒါကို ယူပါ” စတာတွေပဲ။ အနောက်နိုင်ငံက ကလေးတွေကျတော့ သူတို့ လက်တွေ့သင်ကြားကြရတဲ့ စကားလုံးကတော့ “အဲဒါ ငါ့ဟာ” ဆိုတာပဲ။ 

 

အင်္ဂလိပ်တွေရဲ့ ကစားကွင်းမှာ မြန်မာကလေးငယ်တွေအနေနဲ့ သူတို့ရဲ့ ရက်ရောတဲ့သဘာဝ ဘယ်လောက်များ ကြာကြာ ခံပါလိမ့်မလဲလို့တွေးရင်း ငါ တုန်လှုပ်နေမိတယ်။

Astrologer / Palm Reader

 

A young Indian wearing a turban was seen.

“Would you like to check your fortune by palmistry or astrology? He asked with a bit of shame. I am about to get angry because I was sick of astrology as there are so many mistakes and so less truth in the predictions of famous astrologers. Then . . .

“I do not want any.” I replied.

At my disagreement he came forward two or three steps and . . .

“Sir, a lettre will arrive for you. You will have a trip. I saw your destiny. Sir, you are in good luck at this moment.” He said.

“I don’t care whether good or bad.” I replied with a bit of sharp tone.

“A letter from upper Mandalay will come and it will lead to a good destiny.” He said again. At that time, with a thought of “I will give ill treatment to this stubborn Indian” I asked.

“How much does per fortune telling cost?” 

“It cost five dollar for an Englishman. But for you sir, I will only ask for three dollars.”

“What?”

“Isn’t it we Burmese people called the Englishman as ‘Bo’”.
